We have a new opening for a Senior level BSS Engineer to join our Palestine project.
You will undertake the following duties:
•Responsible for on-site survey, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of GSM/3G/WIMAX network equipment
•Provide technical support to customers through remote and on-site trouble-shooting
•Perform software commissioning of wireless Network elements and integration with related network elements
•Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process
•Interface with third party to locate technical problems that may arise during the integration
•On site Maintenance support in case of major or critical problems that can't be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA
•Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process
•Provide technical solution planning and hands-on support on GSM/3G/WIMAX
You must possess the following experience in order to be successful within this role:
•At least 8 years experience in a similar role on 2G, and 5 Years on 3G
•Ericsson experience
•Knowledge of Tools such as TEMS Cell Planner, Asset and Optimisation tools such as TEMS, Actix (preferred), and MapInfo
•Must have good management and customer facing skills and be able to produce reports to present to the customer
